The way we work

When substantial research is necessary, we help to ensure that qualitative research applications are submitted to larger organisations. The FSHD Foundation then works as a so-called ‘matching fund’ which guarantees that all available funding is optimally used for FSHD research. In this, the FSHD Foundation cooperates with the Prinses Beatrix Fund, the Vereniging Spierziekten Nederland (Dutch patients' organisation) and the FSH Society in the United States.
