RESEARCH

Together with leading scientists, the FSHD Foundation has formulated a comprehensive research strategy, consisting of a number of key research areas that are seen to be crucial in FSHD research. All identified research projects can be run independently, but they are also interconnected, as together they determine the search for concrete solutions for patients. We call this strategy our Roadmap to Solutions.

The FSHD Foundation firmly believes that this multidisciplinary and integrated research approach will significantly multiply the chances of finding a cause and cure for this complex disease. The Roadmap to Solutions also helps with targeted fundraising.
