‘Het FSHD Stichting Compliment’ is een aanmoedigingsprijs die tot doel heeft jong talent te stimuleren om actief te blijven in het onderzoek naar en de zorg voor mensen met FSHD. De prijs bestaat uit een oorkonde en een geldbedrag van €250, vrij te besteden door de ontvanger.
De prijs wordt persoonlijk uitgereikt tijdens het Spierziektencongres, dat tegenwoordig eens per twee jaar fysiek plaatsvindt. De eerstvolgende uitreiking is op zaterdag 27 september 2025 in Arnhem.
Zorgprofessionals of onderzoekers die in de afgelopen twee jaar een bijzondere bijdrage hebben geleverd aan de zorg of het onderzoek voor mensen met FSHD kunnen worden voorgedragen. Aanmeldingen kunnen tot uiterlijk 1 juli 2025 worden ingediend.

‘The FSHD Stichting Compliment’ – Recognition Award
‘The FSHD Stichting Compliment’ is an encouragement award that aims to support and recognize young talent committed to the research and/or care of people living with FSHD. The prize includes a certificate and a cash award of €250, which the recipient may use at their discretion.
The award will be presented in person during the Spierziektencongres, a national neuromuscular congress held biennially. The inaugural award ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025, in Arnhem, the Netherlands.
Healthcare professionals or researchers who have contributed significantly to FSHD-related care or research in the past two years are eligible for nomination. Nominations must be submitted no later than July 1, 2023.
